About Me

Lantern Square Designs consists of just me, Jesse Young.  I trained and worked as a structural engineer in Philadelphia for over a decade.  In my spare time, I learned how to do home repairs, practiced traditional woodworking, and ran a dance organization.  When working at an office lost its charm, I started LSD in order to pursue design, furniture making, and home repairs full time.

My mission here at LSD is to make designs that fit your home, your life, and your needs.  While some designs might have some universal appeal, the key to customizing designs is clear and consistent communication with you.  I love talking about design, so let's start the conversation.
